2003 Toyota Camry LE 4 Cyl. A/C blowing hot air

The A/C is blowing hot air. We had the system checked ....the freon, compressor and system were working fine. When we push the A/C knob located in the center of the temp control knob the green light flashes and blows hot air. Can anyone help?

Yes. I think you may not have it set in the proper mode on the control dial. If there is a grouping for A/C, usually the dial or slider needs to be set to an A/C option. Also, A/C WILL NOT work if a windshield defrost or floor/defrost setting is selected.

I don;t believe this is a mode setting issue. We have had this car for years and know how to set the A/c to work. I believe this may be more of an electrical issue or the switch not engaging the compressor, or relay or something like that...not sure.

Check the condition of your A/C belt otherwise do a computer diagnostic and see what code comes up.
