How to replace oil pan!

I checked this out and it's like a 26 step process just to remove the oil pan. These engines today are not like the good old days when you just took the bolts out and dropped the pan. Labor time is shown to be around 6 hours or more. Not trying to discourage you but your best bet I think would be a GM manual.
