302 oil loss out the dip stick

What is causing my f-150 302 to suddenly start blowing a lot of oil out the dip stick but not skip or smoke. Has new pcv. Engine has approx 30,000 original miles. Truck is a work truck that I drive short trips. I've never had to add oil to the engine. Now it has blown over 2 qts of oil out in about 1,000 miles.

RESOLUTION: Drive the car without the oil filler cap installed, and see if it still blows oil.
If the oil stops coming out all the seems, it's probably crankcase pressure being built up by compression ring blowby and valve guide leakage. Opening the cap simply let's the crankcase pressure escape
