If its blowing blue smoke its not a fuel problem blue smoke is from burning oil, either it needs a valve job or piston rings , or a burnt or cracked piston

3208 engine poping through exhaust
I drive a 1984 topkick with a 3208 engine in it they got it running by putting injectors in it but it has no power and when you give it fuel it pops and blows out blacksmoke and when it idles it has blue smoke coming out and smells like fuel. can you help me and let me know if the mechanic is right about it needind and injector pump or if it is not in time or air in fuel Thank you

If the engine is popping through the intake an intake valve is sticking,if through the exhaust same problem.the blue smoke is too much fuel getting into engine.the injector pump might be bad or the wrong injectors.
