If there's a fuse it should be with the rest of the brakes lights. Not knowing what type of car you have, I'd try and replace the bulb first before I went and bought a whole light housing.

On a 2001 chevy blazer is there a fuse for the 3rd brake light or do you have to replace the whole thing?
The fuse your looking for should be conected to the rear tail lights or interor lights but please check the bulb first before you replace the whole thing
There is a third brake light fuse, look in your fuse box and look at the diagram ont he inside for "CHSM", this is the fuse you want.
Most vehicles do have an individual fuse for the 3rd brake light.
