The 1st thing that come to mind is the distributor cap has a crack in it ,letting in moisture causing it to misfire you would have fire but not at the right timing sequence , look for a hair line crack in the distributor cap and or moisture in the cap its self on a wet / damp day , the cap must be sealed up tight , maybe a seal is missing or broke , I feel moisture is getting in to the cap some way , check out all possiblities
