About my 1996 dodge neon

One day i driving along and all of sudden the car started to slow down and i could give it any gas... Turned off the car and tried to start it again.. but it wanted to crank over but wouldn't start.... we changed the fuel pump and relay fuse... Got the car started and went to drive it a few blocks and it died... Then we changed the fuse again... It started and we ran it for half an hour just sitting.... then went to drive it and it went a few feet before it died again... Could this be some wiring problem that connects to the fuel pump to somewhere in the engine....

let me know asap

thanks
marla

Sounds like a wire is crimped. and when you drive it . it hits a bare wire. causeing it to short and blow the fuse. check all the connections. and make sure you wired the pump back right. some thing touching some where
