Air Brakes

With a none CDL box truck under 26,001 pounds with air brakes. Is an air brake endorsement needed to drive this truck. I know that there is an air brake test you must pass for your CDL if you drive a truck over 26,001 pounds. But since this truck is a none CDL unit, do I have to take the air brake test?

If its non CDL then you wont have to take a test, thats for bigger trucks ,
