It sounds like you need a plan. Start finding out what your price range is. New or Used car, Go to a bunch of car dealerships and see what they are offering. Don't let them push you into something. Never buy a car on the spot Always think it over.
I personally think VW has some great plans and plans for people. A new car owners plan that gives you a discount, I got my vw through the college program Didn't have to put anything down, and even though I didn't have any credit I still got a good rate at 3.5%.
but check around because some places will offer you better deals than others. If buying a used car you might want to check into extended warrenties as well.
