Auto accident claim that was denied

I was in an auto accident that was not my fault there was a police report but because the person who caused the accident will not cooperate with his insurance company they are denying coverage to me is that right???

No, that isn't right. but, if the accident wasn't your fault, the other guy will have to pay for it.

you might have to sue that guy to get your money to pay for your damages if he can't get his act together with his insurance company

Yup. Typically if the person does not have insurance, and they were at fault you take them to small claims court. If the police report says that it was their fault, then it's an open and shut case and you will more than likely get the money you need to repair or replace your car.

If you have full coverage on your car fill a claim with your company and let the two insurance co. fight it out if not you will have to take them to court you will need a copy of the police report and depositions of any witnes
