Check the fuel pump and filter. Make sure the pump is getting power to it.

You may need to clean or replace your fuel injectors . Now I had a car do kinda same thing but if I pumped gas whole bunch it would keep running kinda if not it died and it ended up being fuel pum so that could be your problem as well. . Car won't run if it's fuel filter . If nothing works it's probly a sensor . It doesn't sound super serious but it's one of those problems.

Thank ford for this they change things around every three years so nothing is interchangeable so you may need to change out a few wires or electronic components its called planned obsolescence they invented it
