Is it possible to put a bigger engine in a Dodge Ram 1500?

I have a 318 ci. 5.2 L V8. Its all stock from the factory with nothing added to it. So that said, could a bigger V8 engine be put in? Theres plenty of spare room under the hood. Have you herd or seen someone put a bigger block into their stock truck? Let me know if this can be done and how big of a engine can I put in a Dodge Ram 1500. Maybe if you found a link to someone who has done this or a engine that might fit into this truck. Then that would be fine as long as you put some of your own words down to why that link will help.

I have a 2000 Ram. It a 318 that lockup. The wife said why the same motor? We put a 360. No changes that all. Brought a 360 from the junkyard with 30,000 for $1200. Cannot beat that.
