Sure can take it since your the owner its actually illegal to let them drive it your name next time go to your dmv and do a lien on tittle yes though i had same thing happen to me but the person paid for car but never took out of my name so i went an too it back an towed home that's what my local police told me to do cause if they hit anything or someone your the one responsible not them. Go get your car . doesn't matter how they spent the money to pay federal law says any used private party car sold is always sold as is unless seller states in writing a warranty . my words go get your car before something happens and your responsible . The most that could happen is they could try take to small claims to get what was put down on it. put judge will look at it ike a rental fee for using car.
