Friend just had same thing on window motor was bad and still had to change control buttons to fix the other might be able to take out and spray with brake clean if u think something was spilled in them we just got new for my friends.

Auto window
I have a problem with my 2004 cavalier. I have automatic windows. From the drivers's seat I can put my drivers window down but not up... it willgo up once in awhilw or after a long trying time. The rear passenger window on the driver's side is the same. will go down but not up. i took it to the dealer about the rear window, cost me $400 for a new motor but exactly the same problem. They refused a refund so i won't be back there. I think it is the actual controls themselves in the consul. Is there a way to clean them or do ihave to replace them ?

They make specail cleaner for electrical parts, try it, if not go to your local junkyard ,if you already know how to remove them get em. they are probably cheaper than new
