Nite operation on lake champlain

I have heard that you can not operate a motor boat on lake champlain in vermont waters after dark.Is this true ? Could you tell me what the boating laws are for lake champlain from sun set to sun rise are in vermont

We boat on Lake Champlain all the time at night, preferably a Moonlit night. The boating laws on Lake Champlain are predominately the US Coast Guard Rules. Having navigation lights on, and of course Rule 6.
