Brakes on used cars

Can you tell me the law on brakes on a used car baught at car dealer?

If you bought it as the brakes are yours you can ask the dealer to fix them but i doubt it on an as is item it is buyer be ware save your self some greif and get a brake job you will at least be sure of them
