Its your tire and your driving it 170 mph if your not worried about it plug it , i think i would rather put a patch on the inside and not take a chance of pulling the plug out in a burn out , they make plugs that have a patch on the inside , that work very well

Yes you can plug the tire, but at 170 plus do you want to take the chance. I agree with the first answer to your question. placing a patch from the inside would be safer and give you peace of mind.

You should be able to plug it. Check the pressure often, even if the plug comes out the tire shouldn't blow out. But if it was me...I would buy another tire because I enjoy living.

Can you plug it yes, do you value you your life if that tire fails at 170 mph? My super comp dragster averages 175 to 180 if I dont lift. Now way would I ever cut corners and take a chance of injury, especially if it caused me to crash into my opponent.
