Can you mix conventional motor oil with a semi synthetic?

I neesd 6 qts to change my oil and I only have 5 qts of Max-Life semi-synthetic. Can I mix in a qt. of 10W-30W conventional motor oil?

Ive done this and it didnt hurt a thing that i know of , but its up to the person , if it was true synthetic, i wouldnt , but it cant hurt , to do this since the semi had a base in it , that is oil
