This could be that switch itself that is bad, a blown fuse, or the blend door that is bad. Unable to tell with out more information. But I would start with checking the fuses first and then check the switch for proper operation.

Check the heater hose valve ,it may be stuck or vacuum hose cracked ,unplugged
It's most likely the blend door itself. The plastic gears could be stripped, etc. When you push the switch, listen closely for any sound that there's an attempt for the blend door to switch.
