My head lights are surging battery flickers on and off

The altinator went out i replaced it ang the battery. now the lights surge and the battery light flickers on and off. i took it to the ford garage and they put a jumper wire for the battery wire to another wire on the altinator.they said it was giving a false code.yhe engine light never comes on.

I have already done that at ford garage i have put new computer in it also.when they clear the computer it does fine for a few days but there is no engine light on

Simply disconnect your battery, turn on the headlight switch for about five to ten minutes, and re-connect the battery. This is pretty simple, but will likely result in you losing your radio presets and perhaps some other small things like that.
