Why did my car die while driving down the road?

Was driving to work this morn and the rpm's just dropped and the car died and will not start again, the fuses r good and the spark plugs are not firing

Sounds like your ignition system has failed but I would need more specifics on the car (Make , Model, Year, engine size etc) to give you a more specific answer.

You can use starter fluid to double check that either the fuel for spark plugs are not working. If you spray starter fluid and the engine runs for a little while, then you have a fuel problem such as a bad fuel filter, etc.

You need to give us more info. year, make , model .
it makes a difference , any other comments ? after you filled up with gas ,ect

Your car probably overheated. You should get your car diagnosed by a mechanic. Most car repair shops will diagnose a car for free.
