Car starting problems

Just had a problem when you drove the car for a little drive and then shut it off and tried to start it back up nothing, but if you let it set there for 10 to 15 mins it would start. And when you opened the hood it was really hot I thought it had something to do with that. It is a 95 mercury sable Thanks for any help

Your computer is starting to break down , and it could be the spark plugs and wires , check this 1st
