Car wont start

I have a 1996 jeep grand cherokee limited 4.0 l it will not start just stoped one day. We replaced the battery and worked for a day changed cap and plugs worked for a day. With new battery everything powers up just wont start. A friend said it may be the alternator does not sound like starter also was told could be a relay switch up by the transmition please help

Try the fire wall computer and see if its good you can take it off and go to advance or any parts store and they can test it to see, sounds like what it is

To me it sounds like the alternator. I have replaced a few in my lifetime as a car owner. You go down the line of power from the battery which is good, then if the battery will start the car, but not keep it running, I would guess the alternator from my experience. Too bad it costs $100 to run diagnostics even if it's nothing...
