The VIN number is on the registration slip or on the drivers side dash way down at the bottom of the window ,yes the tranie should fit check your used auto parts dealer and he can check to make sure some little something isn't different

Sorry to intercede check this out well as I called my friend who is an Auto Recycler today and he looked it up and said the trans are not interchangeable. I'd hate to see you go through a hassle.

I double checked the with the used part dealer and they looked it up as i ask you to do to be sure before doing anything and No it has to be and 02 no matter which motor it has in it
