I just got both of my laptops out and looked at the hinges on the display screen and i don't see anyway to tighten then and they are both different , you are probably going to have to replace the hinges
Laptop hinges generally aren't tighten-able, but use a metal axle wedged inside a too-small circular spring. The correct term for such things is a "clutch".
I'd guess one of the part of this assembly has snapped. you could use some velcro applied to the back and bottom to hold it open
replacing the hinges is not going to be fun
