Debt Collection

I had purchased a 2000 chevy malibu in 2001. I had filed ch.7 and ch.13 bankruptcy within the past three to five years due to personal problems.. I am no longer in bankruptcy since my recent case has been dismissed. I currently owe a balance of $1372.00 on the auto loan. My account is currently closed with the creditor and I want to know can my car be repossessed still? If so, what can I do?

Yes it can in a bankruptcy the only things you get to keep are those items you can pay for ===there may already be a pick up order out for the vehicle the only way to stop it is to pay for it and clear the order
