The code that you get using the scanner is a general code. It does not apply to your Infiniti. The P1126 is actually a whole different code on the infiniti.
Trouble Code: P1126 (3.0L V6 - Auto)
Thermostat Malfunction (Stuck Open)
Possible Causes:
Check the operation of the thermostat (it may be stuck open)
Inspect for low coolant level or an incorrect coolant mixture
You need to change your thermostat, make sure you use the 192 degrees thermostat. Also check your coolant level, make sure it's not overfilled.
