Diesel fuel injector repair

I have a 1986 Ford Escort SW with a 2.0 Diesel engine. The fuel injector pump went bad and I am having a lot of trouble finding a place to have it repaired. It is a great running car and I would like to get it on the road again, especially getting 48mpg. I live close to Galveston, Texas, do you know of anyone here or anywhere that can help me. Thanks Howard Cressey Hacress@verizon.net

Try checking with a junkyard. If they don't have it, they usually have a nationwide network that can find it for you. Also give ebay a try you may be suprised at what you find. Good Luck!

Go to the dealership and have them order it for you if you can't find it or have it ordered from the auto parts if its not a dealer item only
i wouldnt use a used one it might not have much milage left on it either and if its been setting with old gas in it's probably stoped up with gas gunk
and shlack , but if you want to go the used parts route here a hotline site >>>

I have tried all of the answers you gave me, none of them work, my only answer to my problem is to get mine rebuilt. The only problem is the cost, one business quoted me over $600 plus. Thats a lot of money for an old car with over 200.000 miles. Know anybody out there that can beat that price? Thanks Howard Cressey Hacress@verizon.net
