Not sure about a 2005, but my 2000 5.4 V8 model coil packs did come with mounting brackets.

Actually..........the coil is held down with a small screw. The screw (3/16" bolt) goes through a "ear" on the coil and that is what holds the coil down to the cylinder head. There is no actual "bracket" that holds the coils down. Never has been. They have always been held down with a small bolt. It takes a 5/16" socket, usually quarter inch drive.
