there is a shear pin / bolt for the aguer drive that you have probably broken ,check your manual to see where this is located , it probably just a bolt and nut that can be accessed and replaced ease , some where in the area of the auger , you must have sucked up some thing that has stopped the auger and sheared the pin , rather than cause damage to the engine
