Emisions Law
If I purchased a used car from a dealer in Viena, VA and the emision inspection ran out in the same month, should they have done the inspection before they sold the car. If the answer is yes, what it the penalty for the dealer from DMV. They did not do the inspection because it didn't pass. After purchasing the car the check engine light came on within 2 miles of the dealer.
