Fed ex hit my car

Fed ex hit my car while it was parked. the asked for 2 estaimtes. I got them 2 with totals of $2950 and $3200. they sent out an appraiser and he said it was only worth $1300 and fed ex sent me a check for that amount. I cashed the check and now the won't send me the rest. they keep telling me to take the car to the body shop and get it fixed. I did it sat there for 2 weeks which I now owe storge fees. the body shop tried to collect from them and fed ex won't pay. what can i do?

They got you, unfortunately. The check probably said "paid in full", & by u cashing it, you agreed. You should of waited for the rest of check, or sent it back wanting the full amt. contact your car ins about it, they may have a better answer.
