Ford 7.3 Diesel Swap for a newer motor

I am looking to change my 1995 7.3 for a 2003 7.3 is there anything I have to do? Will the computer work with the newer motor? Can I use the newer automatic transmission?
Thanks, Dan

The old computer will not work with the new engine. You need to use the new engine and transmission together. You could possibly have to change engine mounts and/or transmission mounts if the frame width is different on the 2003 trucks. You will also have to modify the 1995 truck to make room for the aftercooler from the 2003 truck.
