Fuel gage keeps movig from empty 2 full & inbetween

2002 buick rendouvis having problems with fuel gage when full it moves to half or empty, on a regular basis. what ca i do to fix this problem

I've had that happen before, the sensor in your gas tank probably needs to be replaced. Unfortunately it costs quite a bit (at least for my car) because they had to take out the gas tank which i guess is pretty labor intensive.

Replace the sending unit in the fuel tank.

Thank u all for your response, but i've since changed the sendig unit and everything is just fine at lease it did'nt cost an arm and a leg for the repairs i took it to GAS TANK RENU on MARTINGROVE ROAD IN REXDALE good price,good people THANK YOU
