This may be a bad fuel pressure regulator. When the diaphram goes inside the regulator, rather than sucking at the vac line, the fuel goes straight through. You pros out there may have a better way of explaining this. If anyone didn't tell you, don't drive the car! Gas in the oil will wash off all sorts of gunk and deposits which go straight to the screen on the oil pump and stop it up. Then, you are in big trouble.

Is it a hose or something that is ruptured. or maybe a link in the gas tank or line?
