Get paint off the side of the car...

I recently scraped the side of my car against the side of the garage. There is paint on the car, but no dents or anything. Are there any cleaning products that will get it off my car?

Rubbing compound and a lot of elbow grease should do it!

Rubbing compound can damage the clear coat on you cars paint surface, Not to mention leave swirl marks, I would use Turtle Wax Polishing Compound, and Possibly a little Swirl Mark Remover. You can pick up both at your local Auto Parts store.

Try a mildly abrasive automotive wax...worked for me. Had same problem and some of the paint would actually scrap off with fingernail..then used the was.
