Going through a yellow light

I entered the intersection on a yellow but turned red as I passed directly under the light, will I be cited for running the red by the camera pointed in the other direction. I thought that it had to actually be red when you entered the intersection to be cited. I am also wondering I guess what the fine would be in Anderson California for running the light if I was photographed. Can I go to court I tell them what happened as this might be my first citation in 22 years. I might be able to reduce the fine with this record.

If you enter on a yellow light that is legal , and you should not get a ticket, no matter if they took a pic,
