Here in Indiana, we allow moped type vehicles by law to travel on public roads and the owners do not pay taxes, register or license the motorized bikes. So in Indiana where does golf carts stand? So far I have found where local jurisdictions have come up with ordinances to allow golf carts on city streets but not on state or federal roads. Any imput would be good.

Its the same way here in ky , but we have no city golf cart laws, i dont understand it , a moped its more like a golf cart to me, its a pleasure type machine, the new little 4 wheel trucks they are buying out of japan , here , has not got the go ahead to be legal here , they are trying fore the 3 wheel electric car, to have it legal , in the state house, i think all types should be legal as long as you have lights , on them , gas prices demand it, i think the moped laws where designed for children in the 1970s , when mopeds were the thing,
