I would be very careful if they dont have the title to sign over to you , you can run in to all kinds of problems , you pay him for the vehicle, and then he comes back and wants more money for the vehicle before he turns over the title to you or it could be stolen , any number of of things can come in to play here , I would never pay anyone for a vehicle, with checking the VIN to the Vin on the title and haveing the owner name on the front of the title sign it over to me , people just can't be trusted when it comes to money , it he dont want to do any of these things dont buy the vehicle, if anything seems out of line and you dont feel good about it dont do it , if it seems to good to be true its probably not true
