Has there ever been a recall on the 1999 Chevrolet Malibu?

I have just recently experienced a mechanical falilure on the vehicle, Chevy Malibu. There were no sort of warning indications, by electronics located on the dash. The piston rod located in the 6.5 engine block, has busted and blown through the block. I had heard by word of ear to ask if the make and model has ever had a recall. Thank you for your time!

They do not show any recalls for this particulary car with any engine.

No sirree. Chevy is a trusted name in the automobile game. Sorry im a big fan. But no Chevy malibu did not have a recall on that year.
