Having problems with my clutch.

2001 honda civic. It keeps on getting stuck with in the dowm position. Which makes me also have to pump the clutch in order top shift gears. Could it be the transmission?

Id say your throw out bearing is about worn out , and thats the bearing that when you push your clutch in it kicks the pressure plate over , away from the coverter, you might have this adjusted , or maybe not, might just need a throw out bearing,
