Cylinder head bolt torque pounds
- plain head bolt - 65-70 ft. Lbs.
- cupped head bolt - 67.5-72.5 ft. Lbs.
Torque sequence:
sequence 1: torque in sequence to 30 ft/lbs
sequence 2: torque in sequence to 50 ft/lbs
sequence 3: torque in sequence to 70 ft/lbs
sequence 4: torque in sequence after engine is at normal operating temperature

Start in the middle of the head and stagger back and forth from side to side working your way toward both endsof the head . 1 being in the midlle of the head and 2 and 3 on either side of 1 like in the diagram below

heres my torque wrench but dont froget where you got it , i lose more tools this way
