Heater core or thermostat

I have a 1994 Mazada pickup truck. The heat blows warm, not hot. Is it my heater core, or is it a bad thermostat?

Check your water level. If too low, may not heat properly. Also could be valve that opens to allow water through core. If heater core was bad, it would be leaking. Could be a t'stat stuck open. Does engine temp get to normal?

Thanks Manque361! Water level was a little low. i didn't think about that! The heater core isn't leaking, but I decided to flush it in case it was clogged. Since I have to take the thermostat out anyway, I will replace it with a new one. I will let you know if this solves the problem.
