Yes you should let them have their personal belongings, if its enough stuff. they might sue you for it. they can.,and say they had money and every thing in there, but its up to you. one year . and its all yours, if they didnt care enough to get it in a year, it wasnt worth much. and they wont remember what they had . and will say you stole some stuff. even if they cant remember. what it was! so you do what you want to . i dont think you will have any trouble!
