How can I connect into a gas can with a hose for a gravity drain from the can.

I have a gas military heater that uses a jerry can with a gravity feed. I'm trying to put a hose in the bottom of the can so I don't have to tip the can upside down.

Run a hose through the spout of the can sitting upright and run down to the bottom of the can. have the can higher than the heater hopefully far enough not to get hot, but the height difference will pull a vacuum from the tank once you get it primed.
