Take to your local kragen or autozone ask them for the obd reader which will read why your check engine light is on and once you solve those problems then the light will go off if their is no problem but the light is on then just have the kragenor autozone take the light off... and not getting an oil change will not keep the light on the check engine light has nothing to do with maintnce work9brakes,oil change,tires etc0
