How do I proceed to either get title or dispose of a motorcycle abandoned on my property over 5 years ago that we believe was stolen and abandoned?

Motorcycle is damaged physically, we reported to police twice that there was an abandoned motorcycle at the back of our property maybe stolen no one ever responded. now we want to either dispose of it or sel it for parts or restore it. How do I see about getting title. We contacted the registered owner and they said they did'nt wanr it or care about it.

The owner needs to give you the title siging it over, but you really can just get a title from the state, and have him sign that, , but with 5 years there on your land, you could take it, and get owner ship thur the court, and get a salvage title, call your local county court clerks office and they can help you do this, with the title

How do I proceed if I think that the vehicle was reported stolen and an insurance company was involved. I called the police twice to report it left on my property and that I thought it might be stolen but they never responded.

How do I find out if it was reported stolen or if an insurance company paid off on it and is now the owner.

Its yours its been left for 5 years. but you can call the ins, com. and check with them .
