How many days do I have to return a new car under buyers remorse?

I purchased a new care on 10/10/08 after 7 days the car started making sqeeking sounds as I drove through the city streets of Houston, Tx. I reported this to the salesman and up to know I have been given the run around. At this point I want to return the car as I have buyers remorse. What are my rights?
Thank you.

If you bought a new car, it should be covered under warrenty, so you should be able to get it fixed no problems.

as far as buyers remorse, unless it says it in the contract you signed when you bought it, it is usually only like 3 days and 100 - 300 miles. It has been more then that now.

Theres no buyers remorse, on cars this is just for buy in home purchase, and some other little things but when you sign for a car it goes down in price when you put miles on it and the contract has no non deal date. lots of people think there is but my son has a dealership and we have researched this . all over the USA and there is no contrat like this. , now the dealer may take it back for a lower price . and you lose money . but thats about it. and the warrenty, will cover this cost of fixing!
