How often do i need to change my spark plugs and wires

Most times thses days i would change them at 80 thousand miles , even sooner if i can afford it, like around 60,000 wires also , and the car will let you know when it want new fire , it will lose gas milage , and start missing a little, and not start as good,

New cars dont need to be changed till you hit about 100,000 miles. how old is your car

It answered my question down to the miles of when i may need to change them and somethings that may happen before then that i may need to pay attention to regardless of the miles. thanks
