Depending on where you live, law requires that your told of a vehichle being damaged, especially if it has a salvaged title. a lot of times, dealers who deal with damaged or salvaged cars witll put the fact in the teeny tiny small print on the bottom of the contract. if they didn't, however, and you can prove that by law they had to have told you, but failed to do so, you could sue them, or report them to the authorities. my plan of action would to be to talk to the dealership and see if you could come to some sort of settlement. a lot of times, big name dealerships, whether its an "accident" or not, will try to settle things outside of court as to avoid media coverage and name disreputation.

Is this accident something tiny, like a small fenderbender or a major accident that twisted the frame?

did you check the carfax report on the car before you bought it?

did you have a 3rd party mechanic check it out?
